Teaching Tips @ UCR

C&C's Instructional Technology group has compiled (and will continue to compile) instructional tips, techniques, suggestions, and “best practices” from campus faculty as well as from university instructors across the country. Our suggestions are designed to make instructors aware of some important teaching and learning options and considerations.

These suggestions range from looking at the way teaching is presented to assessing the effectiveness of instruction. Our suggestions are derived from a common sense approach to instruction and learning. The list is wide in its scope in order to provide all campus instructors an opportunity to try or adopt one or more technique over time.

Faculty are encouraged to submit tips to C&C's Instructional Technology for inclusion in the list. In addition, all feedback is welcome concerning the efficacy of these tips. Please e-mail your thoughts to Leo Schouest, Manager, Instructional Technology Group.
